It’s important to know that a voltage protector is not a regulator. Voltage protectors only check if the electrical line send the right tensions, but they haven’t been designed to correct irregularities in the electricity source. That’s why protectors are much more affordable than regulators and stabilizers. A regulator or stabilizer works increasing or reducing the tensions automatically guaranteeing that the output keeps within the load’s operation range. However, the use of a regulator is only recommended when the tension level are over the maximum accepted range, that is, when their duration is over 20% of the working time.
